It's Official, Hemp Has Gone Mainstream

If you spend time surfing the internet for anything health or fitness related, you’ve probably seen someone promoting Hemp use. From hardcore crossfit athletes to mom’s that write blogs about yoga, the culture of Hemp is growing. I’ve been around the fitness industry for nearly 20 years and I’ve seen plenty of fads come and go. Most of the fad diets or gimmick routines die out almost as fast as they blow onto the scene. There was Tae-bo, P90X, detox teas, and even gels you could rub on your love handles which would supposedly make your fat just magically disappear.

So, what about Hemp oil and Hemp gummies, are they here to stay? Is Hemp use just something on the internet in blogs or is it actually becoming mainstream? After watching the Oscars and the various awards shows this season, there was a buzz around Hollywood and it just wasn’t about who was wearing what. Melissa McCarthy used Hemp oil before coming out on stage in high heels. She wasn’t the only one, even the gift bags at the Oscar’s were filled with various Hemp products.

“For now, Hemp is being infused into face creams, bath bombs, makeup and dozens of pet products. ... A large part of this expanding category is the edibles market, where Hemp is being touted as a superfood and it’s infused into products such as honey, salad dressing, baked goods, snacks and whole host of beverages.”

Hemp has gone from isolated corners of social media to front and center in Hollywood and the red carpet, so the next question should be why? How does Hemp make you feel? Honestly that answer is going to be different for everyone.

Hemp oil effects are helping people with pain, anxiety and sleep and Hemp has gone mainstreamI personally use Hemp in a few different variations out of curiosity and because it’s fun to explore new things. I use the basic Hemp oil, I also use 25mg Hemp gummies, and have even tried Hemp cookies and Hemp Brownies. Hemp has become an important tool in my handbag to a healthier version of me, therefore I’m willing to experiment and try different things to see what works best. What are the side effects of Hemp gummies or any other Hemp product you might try? For me, the answer has been none.

The rise of most fads comes down to marketing and when the fad is actually put to the test, the lack of results equals its demise. For trends such as Hemp, it’s rise is related to its effectiveness. People from Melissa McCarthy to Martha Stewart are recognizing the benefits of Hemp and maybe it's worth a try for you too.
