So ladies, let’s have a conversation about our periods. I know, I know, it’s not a fun conversation, but it’s the one we really need to have. For some of you lucky few ladies, your periods come and go with little drama or fan fare. It’s a moderate disruption in your month, but still, it comes and goes. For ladies like myself, it’s a life ruiner! Mind numbingly painful cramps, mood swings, bloating, cravings, oh and did I mention mood swings and cramps? After an exceptionally painful monthly experience I decided I needed to look for a better way to manage my cycle and take control of the situation.
So what were my options for taking control of my period? I wanted something natural that could help with the symptoms of PMS, but wouldn’t impact my capacity to get things done. I needed more than heating pads and warm baths, but didn’t want prescription pain pills.
