Companies Getting Failing Grades for Hemp Products

Companies Getting Failing Grades for Hemp Products

The scrutinization of the hemp Hemp product industry is intense, as it should be. Hemp 1000mg tincturues, Hemp edibles and other Hemp products are generally new to the public and still exists in a sort of gray area while we await final rules to come down from the FDA and other government regulatory bodies. The benefits ofHempD are still being researched by scientists and the best extraction and cultivation practices are unfortunately not being utilized across the industry.

The Center for Food Safety recently weighed in on the discussion rating 40 of the biggest Hemp brands out there and gave roughly half of them a failing grade. While the gray area still exists for hemp Hemp production, many companies have taken shortcuts more interested in the bottom line than providing their customers with the very best product. One of the many critical business ingredients necessary to bring best practices to the Hemp space is providing proper transparency to customers.

On all Sugar and Kush Hemp product pages, a third party Hemp lab test is provided so that our customers can see the cannabinoid compilation of each product. Sugar and Kush uses a pure Hemp isolate in its products to ensure there are no psychoactive effects from THC. Utilizing best extraction methods is also an essential part of our process and we have found that a coconut derived MCT is one of the best carriers of CBD through the body. We must consider even more that just the Hemp oil we use though.

Our keto Hemp gummies, unflavored Hemp oil, flavored Hemp oil, Hemp cookies and Hemp brownies are all made from the most wholesome ingredients with little to no sugar. The packaging and branding is designed to be fun and beautiful rather than the typical bland medicinal look. The Hemp food is also intended to taste great without having to forfeit health. While we are an evolving company like every other brand you see out there, we are working hard to embody the best business practices while putting our customers first.

The Center for Food Safety’s assessment of the Hemp industry seems accurate and fair. If you want to buy Hemp oil, unfortunately it falls on you to research it properly. Here are some of the things you may want to watch out for:

  • No Hemp lab report
  • No ingredients label
  • Bad Hemp reviews
  • Hemp products that contains traces of THC
  • Hemp infused into products with high sugar or saturated fats

So, where does this new innovative wellness product go from here? Is it just a matter of waiting for the FDA’s final rules? Is there more to improving on the products being offered to the public? I’m not sure, but as time goes on, we will undoubtedly find new innovations that are bound to fascinate the public. For me, there is one missing element that I am excited to see come down the pipeline. A better understanding of how to properly dose Hemp is very important.

The right Hemp dosage depends on a variety of factors including weight, prescription drugs you are taking and other important factors.

The right Hemp dosage is difficult to determine. Hemp does not actually bind to CB receptors in our body, instead it promotes the generation of endocannabinoids (cannabinoids created by our own bodies). Comprehensive dosing instructions may not come down the pipeline until the medical community truly embraces the medical benefits of CBD. Once they see how this new introduction into people’s lives interacts with drugs, we should start seeing new comprehensive dosing instructions for Hemp come down the pipeline. Doctors will also want to know the best mediums to carry it through the body and how to best target certain areas of the body. It’s information I am anxious for, and I know many other people are waiting for it as well.
